What is Vaultr?
Vaultr is a platform where you can buy mystery packs of real, professionally graded Pokemon cards. Every card is physically stored in our secure facility. You can keep cards in your vault, sell them on our marketplace, have them shipped to you, or sell them back to us through our buyback program.
How do mystery packs work?
Each mystery pack contains a pool of real graded Pokemon cards with exact odds shown on the pack page. When you open a pack, one card is randomly selected and added to your vault. The randomization is provably fair — at the moment you rip, a 256-bit cryptographic seed is generated and its SHA-256 hash is written to your pack record before any card is claimed. After opening, the full seed is revealed so you can independently verify the picked card was determined by the committed seed.
What pack tiers are available?
We offer four tiers: Starter $25, Pro $50, Master $100, and Grail $500. All prices are shown in US Dollars (USD). Higher tiers unlock higher-value cards. Every pack's page shows its specific pull rates before you buy.
How is card pricing determined?
We use recent completed sales data from eBay and other major marketplaces to determine fair market values. Pricing is transparent — you can see the market value of every card on the platform.
What is the buyback?
After opening a pack, you have 7 days to sell your certificate back to Vaultr at approximately 90% of the card's market value. The exact buyback amount is shown before you accept and is credited to your wallet as platform credits. It's completely optional — if you like your card, keep it.
How do I add funds?
Go to your wallet and add funds using a credit or debit card, processed securely through Coinflow. Your balance is used for all services on the platform.
How do I withdraw money?
Withdrawals are being moved to Coinflow and will be available shortly. You'll complete a quick identity check and link a payout method through Coinflow; payouts then arrive within a few business days.
What is a Vaultr ID?
Every card on Vaultr is assigned a unique identifier in the format VLT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. This is an ownership token that tracks the card's provenance — who owned it, when it changed hands, and its full history on the platform. It's not an NFT or blockchain token, just a simple and transparent way to track ownership.
Is pack opening fair?
Yes. We use a provably fair system with cryptographic seed hashing. When you rip a pack, a 256-bit cryptographic seed is generated and its SHA-256 hash is written to your pack record before any card is claimed from inventory. After opening, the full seed is revealed so you can independently verify that the picked card was determined by the committed seed and wasn't substituted afterward.
Can I get the physical card?
Yes. You can request physical delivery of any card in your vault at any time after you acquire it. A flat $4 handling fee covers packaging, fulfillment, and labor, and you pay the live carrier rate for shipping (Canada Post, USPS, or UPS — options shown cheapest-first for your address so you can pick). Applicable Canadian sales tax is calculated on the combined card value, shipping, and handling at redemption. Cards are shipped in protective packaging suitable for graded cards.
Can I list a card on the marketplace right away?
New accounts have a 48-hour hold before marketplace listings become active — this is a fraud-prevention measure. After 48 hours your listings activate normally.
What are the fees?
The marketplace has 0% transaction fees — what you list is what the buyer pays, and what you earn. A payment processing fee applies when you add funds (shown at checkout before you pay). Physical redemption charges a flat $4 handling fee plus the live carrier rate for shipping, with applicable Canadian sales tax on the combined value.
How is my card stored?
All cards are stored in a secure, climate-controlled facility. Cards are individually sleeved and organized for protection. We take every reasonable precaution to protect your cards against loss, theft, and damage.
How do mystery packs work as a purchase?
Vaultr is a purchase of physical goods. Every pack delivers a real, professionally graded Pokemon card with verifiable market value, and the full card pool and exact odds for each pack are disclosed before purchase. After opening, you can keep the card, sell it on our marketplace, redeem it for physical delivery, or use the buyback program (approximately 90% of market value, valid for 7 days) to recover most of your spend as store credit.
Do I need to pay tax?
Yes, applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on your location. Tax is shown before you complete your purchase.

Where do I see the odds?
Every pack page shows its pull rates before you buy — the card values you can land, the chance of each, and the expected value for that tier.
