Frequently Asked Questions
What is Vaultr?
Vaultr offers mystery packs containing real, professionally graded Pokemon cards held in custody. After opening, you can keep a card in your vault, request physical delivery, or review an optional buyback offer.
How do mystery packs work?
Each pack page shows its card pool and tier odds before purchase. When you open a pack, one available card is randomly selected and added to your vault. Vaultr stores the selected card, odds tier, timestamp, and a reference hash. The current verification page only retrieves that record; it does not authenticate or independently reproduce the selection.
What pack tiers are available?
Vaultr currently displays six tiers: Starter, Pro, Master, Grail, Legend, and Mythic. All prices are shown in US Dollars (USD), and each pack page shows its current price, card pool, and pull rates before purchase.
How is card pricing determined?
We use recent completed-sale data from major trading-card marketplaces and pricing sources to determine fair market values. You can review the current market value assigned to each card on the platform.
What is the buyback?
After opening a pack, you may receive a time-limited offer to sell the certificate back to Vaultr. The exact amount and credit type are shown before you accept. Buyback is optional; you can keep the card instead.
How do I add funds?
Go to your Wallet and choose Add Funds. Available payment methods and any processing fee are shown in the Coinflow checkout before you confirm.
How do I withdraw money?
Submit a withdrawal request from your Wallet. Identity verification and a supported payout method may be required through Coinflow. Availability, review status, and timing depend on your account and payout method.
What is a Vaultr ID?
Each card is assigned a Vaultr identifier that tracks its ownership record and history within the platform. It is not an NFT, cryptocurrency, or blockchain token.
How can I review pack fairness?
Review the published card pool and exact tier odds on the pack page before buying. After an opening, Vaultr displays the stored result and reference hash. The current verifier is a record lookup; it does not authenticate or independently recompute which card the random selection should have produced.
Can I get the physical card?
Yes. You can request physical delivery from your vault. The confirmation screen shows the card value, handling fee, selected live carrier rate, and any applicable Canadian sales tax before you submit.
Can I use the marketplace?
The peer-to-peer marketplace is temporarily paused while transaction safeguards are upgraded. New listings and purchases are disabled. If you already have an active listing, you can cancel it from your Vault.
What are the fees?
Any payment processing fee is shown before you add funds. Physical redemption charges a $4 handling fee plus the selected live carrier rate, with applicable Canadian sales tax shown before confirmation.
How is my card stored?
Cards are held in secured storage and organized for protection while they remain in Vaultr custody.
What do I receive from a mystery pack?
Every opened pack assigns a real, professionally graded Pokemon card from the disclosed pool to your vault. You can keep the certificate in custody, request physical delivery, or review an optional time-limited buyback offer.
Do I need to pay tax?
No sales tax is charged when you buy a pack or add funds. Applicable Canadian sales tax is calculated when you redeem a card for physical shipping and is shown before confirmation.
How do I contact support?
Email [email protected] or use the Contact page.
Where do I see the odds?
Every pack page shows its pull rates before you buy — the card values you can land, the chance of each, and the expected value for that tier. The short version: higher pack tiers draw from higher-value card pools, and every pull has a non-zero chance at the top of the range. For the exact numbers on a specific pack, open its page.
Pull Value Guide
The glow colour on a pulled card reflects its market value relative to the pack price — not its print rarity. These four bands match the odds panel on every pack page.
